BCHD is currently offering the Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. You will be able to note which type of vaccine is offered at the clinic before scheduling an appointment. Note: those under the age of 18 can only receive the Pfizer vaccine with parental consent. The Pfizer vaccine is authorized and recommended for individuals over the age of 12.

If scheduling an appointment for your 2nd dose of the vaccine: please note which vaccine will be offered at the clinic you are scheduling for. If it has been at least 21 days since your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine OR at least 28 days since your first dose of the Moderna vaccine, you are eligible to schedule an appointment for your 2nd dose. You must receive the same type of vaccine for your second dose as you received for your first dose, as the products cannot be mixed between doses. Please bring your vaccination record card with you to your second dose appointment.

Save time and complete your registration paperwork before your appointment! Parents/guardians must provide written consent or be physically present for minors under the age of 18 to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccines: Hope is on the Horizon

A COVID-19 vaccine will be critical in slowing the spread of the virus and helping our community recover from the pandemic. Stopping this pandemic will take us using all our tools: handwashing, masks, social distancing, and now, our newest tool of a vaccine to prevent the virus. Taken together, these tools offer the best chance of getting our community, schools, and businesses back to normal as soon as possible. Please remember, we will all need to keep using prevention strategies until enough of our community has received the vaccine.
