 The Berrien County Sheriff's Department has an Honor Guard Detail. Deputies assigned to the Honor Guard represent the department at special gatherings including memorials and funerals. These deputies volunteer their time and are dedicated to the unit. The Honor Guards wear a similar uniform with a few added details. For example, Honor Guards wear white gloves, white cords, and a white inner shirt. There shoes and brass are highly polished to allow for a bright shine.
