The Explorer Post 602 welcomes those who share an interest in learning about law enforcement as a career. During your journey you will learn and practice many important life-skills. Some of these valuable skills include leadership, team building, community service, problem solving, responsibility, communication and accountability. These traits are not learned overnight, it is a process.
Members must meet the following qualifications:

14-20 years of age.

Residing in Berrien County.

Maintaining a "C" average or higher.

Must have a clear criminal history.

Those willing to follow the guidelines of the organization including attending monthly meetings and events.

Paying a $20.00 annual membership fee.

Buying approved boots, pants and misc. items.

Return the three applications on the previous page and submit it to the Berrien County Sheriff's Deptartment.
