The Accident Reconstruction Team is used to investigate serious injury and fatal motor vehicle crashes. Trained investigators and Reconstructionists locate evidence left at the scene of the crash and attempt to determine to the best of their ability what took place. Conclusions from the investigation are then compiled and turned over to the Prosecutor's Office for review. Members of the Accident Reconstruction Team must be available for calls 24 hours per day.
