The Berrien County Sheriff's Department Motorcycle Team consists of eight certified riders who operate police motorcycles between April and November of each year. Motorcycles are used for routine patrol as well as being requested to participate in community events.
These events include:

The Berrien County Sheriff's Department Motorcycle Team has had the privilege to escort the President of the United States as well as other government leaders.
Each year the motor officers are recertified through additional training. Regular training sessions with our own certified instructor help to ensure our skills are maintained to the high standards demanded of a Police Motor Unit.

The team of dedicated motor officers volunteer much of their time and are committed to providing a unique public safety service where standard patrol units are not practical.
